My favourite summer beach treats are frozen cherries.
How to prepare
Wash, stem and pit the cherries, if desired and spread onto a plate lined with baking paper. Pop into the freezer for a few hours. When cherries are frozen solid, transfer the cherries into snack-sized freezer bags. They'll keep up to a year this way. Freezing on a plate first, prevents clumping that would occur if you threw all the cherries into a bag at once, and then froze.
Be sure to eat the cherries before they become completely thawed. Mouth-watering!!!
